Stayed for two years
Stayed here for about two years, I really don't think the price we paid was worth it. Pretty overpriced by the time we moved out. They raised our rent so much by the time we had to move out or choose one of their new renovated units. Most of our neighbors basically moved out by the time we were about to leave.
The new additions/ammenities they've added to "justify" the rent hikes I don't recall asking for and would've rather had better rent.
There were lots of small issues we had while staying... there like, cockroaches sometimes appearing, brown recluses coming in through the vents, frequent smell of weed coming through the vents and windows, and a cigarette smoking smell in the hallways for about a full year. There was also the time that my roommate got their laundry basket stolen from the laundry room in the past, and a few of the packages left at our door were stolen too. Our refrigerator froze over like 4 times and had to be dethawed before they finally replaced the fridge, near the move out date.
Its hard to recommend the wifi, it was pretty reliable for the most part, but it would completely cut out a couple times every once in a while, and there was also the fact that we didn't get to use our own router which was pretty disappointing.
It was nice seeing the little apartment complex events sometimes where the office ladies would put posters up on the doors for free lemonade, or ice cream, or holiday competitions. I liked that.
On the moveout we were hoping we'd get some of our large security deposit back if we cleaned super well, but nope. Apparently its just so that they don't charge you fees for cleaning, so that was disappointing since we spent a lot of time making everything look nice, and they were gonna renovate that unit anyways.
Overall the apartments just feel overpriced, and even though its a pretty location sometimes, I don't think its worth staying there for what you're gonna have to pay.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We truly appreciate the opportunity to hear about your experience and would be happy to discuss any concerns you may have.
Please feel free to reach out to our Community Manager,... Erica, at columns@cresmanagement.com or (417) 881-1612. We would be glad to speak with you directly and see how we can help.
We also wanted to clarify the question regarding security deposits. Residents who moved in before CRES Management took over the property in August 2022 did not pay a security deposit under the previous management company. Instead, they paid non-refundable move-in fees, and no security deposit was collected at move-in.
Thank you again for your feedback and for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns.
