if you like roaches this is the place for you

I am currently living here and the number of cockroaches I've had to kill in the last 3 months is insane. As soon as my lease is up, I will be leaving immediately. When they come to spray, they do 1 weak spray and say "if the people around you aren't trying to rid the problem, then it doesn't matter how much I spray". I've truly never been so unhappy with an apartment in my whole life.

We moved to Grand at Pearl about a year ago. The process was easy, but there were some things that needed to be fixed in our apartment (at the time of move-in). Those things weren’t fixed (minor problems like re-caulking, etc), but I can say, any other problems we’ve have had, they’ve fixed. Our mailbox didn’t lock correctly. I put in a work order and it was fixed right away. I got my dryer delivered from Lowes and the guy from Lowes told me to call maintenance because a piece was missing (that… was supposed to be provided by the complex), and maintenance ended up installing my dryer. I do hate that the communication is sometimes short notice. Otherwise, you get used to it. My neighbors and I mind our businesses and it works for us. It’s not perfect, but it’s great for the price! There’s nowhere you can find such a spacious three bedroom apartment for the price we pay (in a somewhat safe neighborhood).

This Property is Poorly Managed

I would never recommend these apartments to anyone. I value communication and Grand At Pearl fails to communicate with everything. They don't respond to phone, email, nor service request. It's honestly a good location to live, but it is poorly managed. I've had several complaints to Ms. Gwendolyn, but she doesn't seem to value her residents. At least not us from our experiences.

Nice place to stay.

Been here for 3+ years. Never have any issues. Maintenance is friendly always wave when they see people. The two young ladies in the office are sweet and friendly. Greet you with a smile. Didn’t know we had a new property manager??. But love it here!
