Pros: It's a quiet area with a fishing pond, small pool, and spacious parking. Maintenance is pretty responsive when one is on staff.
Cons: Property Manager, Erin, shows favoritism with tenants-some are charged less than others with deposits, etc., as well as some of the contents of the lease are enforced better than others. Drugs are supposed to be zero allowed, but unless the law comes out to see it personally, there's not much the property can do so forget that being enforced. Speed limit... signs are used as a suggestion. Carpet is NOT changed out between tenants, so I would ask Dog breed policy is NOT enforced and feral cats are everywhere. Insulation is non-existent and you will see that in your electricity bill no matter how strict you are. Smells-due to the structure of the building you WILL smell what your neighbor is cooking...or smoking. Boring place for children-other than pool, no activity and a decent drive into town if you want to grab a bite. Power goes out frequently but that's on the electric company being too cheap to bury the lines. Check the balcony if you decide to rent-water damage has destroyed some of them making it a hazard. If you get to enjoy them. Not all balconies have mosquito netting and the bugs are ferocious. Bad landscape drainage had us walking through a mud lake to our cars every day. Appliances are old. Carpet is original from the 90's- full of holes and more spots than a dalmatian. Constant ant problem. Air conditioner barely keeps up in the spring, summer is almost unbearable. Only just last year allowed us to pay rent online, be prepared to bust out the paper checks and written notices for everything else as they do not believe in the internet.
