The specific room for the sublet is in the basement of the duplex, down the set of stairs off of the main hallway and to the left (this is the only access to the room from the upstairs,... and the person living in the other room in the basement will need to walk through in order to access their space most of the time; if needed, there is also an outside door that connects to the other room). The room itself is medium-sized, with a closet with a door and plenty of space for a bed and any other furniture needed! You will only be sharing a bathroom with one other person, and the bathroom contains a shower, toilet, and sink area.
The rest of the house is updated and has a lot of natural light. The duplex itself has three stories, and the rest of the bedrooms are on the third floor; two of them also have balconies that look out over the street. The three upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom similar to the one in the basement. The middle floor houses the living room, the kitchen, a powder room near the stairs, and a washer and dryer, as well as a back door out to a small porch and gravel area. There is a nook for the kitchen table, and plenty of storage for pots/pans and food (there is space for a big shelf in the corner of the kitchen and a large amount of cabinet storage). The front door is down a set of stairs from the street, and there is a gravel driveway that slopes down to it with a small porch on the front.
The house is opposite an elementary school (Northside Elementary School). The area is very safe, and only a 10 minute walk from behind Quechula on Franklin Street! There is a bus stop a 3 minute walk from the house and the area is very bikeable, around a 5 minute bike ride to main campus or a 15 minute walk.

We are looking for ideally only UNC female undergraduate tenants, as the rest of the students living in the house are female undergrads. Utilities are not included in the rent, but the 740 price tag is negotiable! The room does not come furnished.
