Ascent Pineville

This place is a trash nightmare and a construction zone. Honestly, if they would have told us that construction would be ongoing, I would not have renewed my lease. We initially received a letter stating when an affordable housing company bought the property and that the “The impact
to you and your family will be almost unnoticeable.” But, as time progressed, that was a false statement. There have been numerous major issues and changes happening since SL Nausbum took over. The management here is... a huge issue and I have seen different maintenance personnel changes in a matter of weeks. Living here was the best experience ever. Ms Ann is the best, she is very nice and professional. She always made sure I was a happy tenant!!! If you’re looking for a nice quiet apartment home, LOOK NO FURTHER. THESE WILL MAKE YOU SMILE!!

I came across the property and seen Angela walking to the door and asked for a tour. She quickly grabbed information and showed me the model home. Very nice property.

I lived here from August 2017 to May 2018. This was the very first place I applied to when moving out, and within the week I was accepted. The office was very communicative with me during this process and made everything run smoothly.

The actual apartment was great. It was small, but definitely upgraded and modern, and very comfortable to stay in. My only issue would be the lack of storage in general. I never had any complaints about appliances breaking, or anything going wrong in the apartment... . The pool area is also nice, and they do valet trash pick up which I've learned is not to be taken for granted!

The area around the apartment is also some of my favorite around the Charlotte area. Pineville has a lot to offer, including an amazing hospital and many things to do and places to eat. Trying to exit out of the apartment onto 51 can be a nightmare, but the second exit out the back is accessible and convenient.

The only real problem the community has, in my opinion, are some of the residents, which sometimes just can't be helped. My uncle's plate was stolen off of his car when he came and visited, and my friend left her car unlocked during the day only to find her wallet stolen. One night I was sitting on my patio and was approached by one of my neighbors, who was intoxicated, and he began asking me strange questions such as whether I lock my car and have an alarm on it. I know these issues are not specific to this community exclusively but it is something to be aware of.

Despite that, overall I really enjoyed my time at the Ascent and would move back given the opportunity! Read More

Very professional yet sensitive to your needs! Staff is extremely knowledgable and polite! I absolutely love the apartment and style. Promptly service when needed, valet daily trash pick up and an absolutely wonderful elementary school nearby! Most convenient to interstate yet very quiet and hidden! Already spread the work at work to almost 1100 strong employees
