Better communication and empathy needed - inspections needed
I just moved in and during the touring and move in the staff here are very nice.
The reason I'm giving two stars is that the ball was dropped. This is considered a luxury property but it doesn't seem like my apartment was inspected prior to move in. I was told it would be cleaned prior to moving in and the day I got my keys it wasn't. Mud was on both carpets, bugs and pink paint on the wall of one of the bedrooms. Huge dents in the foundation of the apartment, a bunch of nails sticking up out... of the carpet via the door walk ways stabbing me in my foot as I walk through doors etc. The carpet was never cleaned even after advising and none of the issues listed on the inventory list were either. Beautiful apartment and building outside of the issues...but still for this to be a brand new apartment and me being the first one in it says a lot. I would still recommend the property but I would definitely do a good inspection of the apartment you choose.
I'm still missing my second key fob and resident pool pass as well. I sent an email listing all of these issues and never received a reply. I went down to the office to mention my email and was told yeah we received it and the wall was painted. That was it.
On top of all of that I've gone down to the office twice to set up rental payments to receive the two months off since that's the only way to receive it and was told no one could help me at this time. I truly don't understand why you have a person at the front desk who is unable to assist and help as the other staff can. Having to wait until McKenna, Rosela or Amber are free to get assistance is pretty crazy to me.
I understand no place can be perfect but my goodness. I’m truly not trying to complain but this hasn’t been the best experience for me. This all has literally happened in 9 days. I've only been here for 9 days. It's like after you sign the lease your issues don't matter.
