Deeply Disappointed with Management’s Irresponsible Handling of Ongoing Issues
I’ve been a current leaseholder at this community, and I genuinely regret my decision to live here due to the management’s repeated negligence and unprofessional attitude toward tenant concerns.
For the past three weeks, a woman has been allowing her dog to defecate right next to my first-floor patio, facing the backside of the building — an area rarely monitored. Despite me reporting this issue immediately, the leasing office only responded responsibly the very first time by sending someone... to clean up, which I truly appreciated. However, that was the only instance they acted promptly.
Since then, the issue continues, and instead of taking proactive measures — such as sending an awareness email to residents with pets in my area — management has chosen to ignore the problem completely. When I followed up multiple times, I was told they “can’t do anything” unless I identify the specific person myself. Seriously? As a paying resident, am I supposed to patrol the property and handle community discipline myself? That’s clearly their responsibility, not mine.
To make matters worse, the staff’s tone and attitude were dismissive and condescending. The leasing agent even told me that cleaning staff “patrol daily” — which is absolutely not true, because nothing gets cleaned unless someone complains. When I asked again for help, she bluntly said the staff weren’t working that day and didn’t even bother assuring me that it would be handled later. That lack of basic courtesy and accountability speaks volumes about how they treat existing tenants.
And this isn’t an isolated problem — the property in general has been poorly maintained. We constantly deal with cockroaches, tiny flies, and filthy dumpsters, despite being charged monthly fees for trash ($19) and pest control. It’s completely unacceptable that residents are paying these fees and still living in such conditions.
We’ve tolerated many of these “common” issues patiently, but this repeated ignorance and lack of professionalism from management is beyond disappointing. All I expect is a responsible, proactive, and respectful approach toward the concerns of paying residents — not indifference and excuses.
If you’re considering leasing here, please think twice. The management’s lack of accountability, poor communication, and disregard for tenant well-being make this place far from worth the rent they charge.
