Park Forest

Now that I have finally moved out of this place, I can give my honest review. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! Most of their “renovated apartments“ are not actually renovated. They have “new” appliances, but are literally falling apart. Most countertops and cabinets are dry rotted, and you will have to get them replaced shortly after moving in. The on-site maintenance crews that this property hires are the lowest of low end. If you value any of your personal belongings, do not leave it out when they’re… cutting grass or “Upgrading”the property , multiple times I had sticks and debris blown at my car, leaving scratches and dents, as well as having multiple plants destroyed when they painted the balcony above mine. I had to call maintenance to fix the same problems repeatedly and don’t get me started on the bugs. Beware of poison ivy growing randomly throughout the property. I had several vines/bushes of it growing next to my patio. Most of the positive reviews that you see here are from them, incentivizing people on tours, and residence to leave positive reviews for rewards/discounts. The leasing office is unresponsive and delivery services (Doordash, Amazon, ect.) have a huge issue getting your stuff to you on this property. There were multiple times that packages were either delivered to the wrong place or stolen off of someone’s porch. They will also make moving out a nightmare all they care about is getting paid and will harass you about it. If you value your items and your mental health find another place to live. Read More

This place is nice. Anytime I have any problems with my apartment they come the next day, if not the same day. I’ve been here for two years and I’ve had no problems. The amenities and the staff are great, the location is even better.

I have lived at Park Forest 3+ years now and have gotten to know the staff pretty well and I also enjoy my neighbors. The office staff are professional and yet genuinely caring and take the time to get to know residents and want the best for them; the maintenance are energetic, friendly, hardworking guys ready to tackle whatever task is thrown their way and to do as efficiently as possible. On top all that the location is excellent; grocery stores, movies, restaurants and a few bars all in… walking distance, everything else is only minutes away a little closer into town. Yet being on the edge of town a quick walk across the road puts you at the Guilford Courthouse Military Park and the start of a seemingly inexhaustible series of walking, hiking, biking trails some of which can lead to a handful of lakes ranging from 2-7 miles away. Have been here for 3+ years. The community is nice with a great mix of people. The best part about the place is the people in the office who are super helpful. Catherine is welcoming and a problem solver. I've never had a problem that wasn't fixed fast, within a day or two. It's very well located, off Battleground and 5 mts walk from Trader Joe. Close to UNCG. Get togethers organised by the office every few months. It's nice!
