I would not recommend living here.

I lived here from October to mid-November of 2023. I wish I had googled "the Lofts at the plaza" and selected news to see the trouble at this place in the recent past.( a fire, drug bust and shooting) My apartment had been recently renovated but had a musty smell that I could not get rid of. Even after moving my cloths smelled for a week or so. Anytime I was in the apartment I had the windows open because of this smell. Unfortunately, this often (daily) allowed the smell of pot and cigarette… smoke in which I did not care for. Most of the staff was nice and helpful. When I moved out I asked for my security deposit back. I was told this would take 4-6 weeks. I kept an eye on my on line account it seemed to fluctuate regularly sometimes I had a positive balance sometimes negative. The next notification I received was from a collection agency saying I owed the lofts at the plaza $370. It would have been nice if the lofts reached out to me before turning me over to collections. They had my contact information and I had always paid them on time in the past. When I called to ask about this they said they had mailed a letter,(I did not receive the letter) and that if they don't get a response in 7 days they turn you over to collections. However, if they owe you money it takes 4-6 weeks. I'm glad to have moved out and would not recommend these apartments.

Great!

Listen, I’ve had some minor issues here. But I will say they have all been solved, Everyone at the front office is extremely welcoming and helpful.
They are actively renovating parts of the property so I’m grateful i’m able to stick around and see that. I really have no giant complaints here but i’ve enjoyed my time here at plaza west so far.

It’s so bad I want to give it ZERO.. but that’s not possible.

Just moved in august 2021. Told us January we have to leave in 30 days with nothing but our deposit back. Making us leave because black MOLD!!

Not worth the price they are asking

The apartments are old. Painting is terrible. The pictures posted online are deceitful. Parking lot needs repaved. No workout center. The pool has been closed for a year-and-half. If anything goes wrong inside or outside the apartments they blame you for it, even if it had nothing to do with you. NOT worth the price they are asking at all, not even close.

Misleading...

I just called this property and spoke with a representative who said they do NOT have washer/dryer hook-ups installed in their units! Very misleading because I was about to consider making (or at least attempt) to make Plaza West my newfound home! They have all the other features except that one big one!
This website needs to remove this part of the content because it is again, NOT TRUE!
