Renters - Look Elsewhere
The units, grounds, and amenities are all fairly brand new (Jan. 2025) and beautiful. However, if you have any issues outside of routine maintenance, expect to handle them yourself. Revel Greensboro management is only good for sending out pleasant emails reminding residents to pick up after their dogs, not speed, and not smoke on the grounds or in the units.
Madison, Revel’s community manager, has stated to me that “they have to watch their tone” in regard to contact with residents and... enforcing rules. As a current resident here, the email niceties have no impact. Residents here do not pick up after their dogs, speed through the parking lots, and smoke cigarettes and marijuana openly.
When these issues are brought to management, they will task you, the resident, with taking pictures of other residents “in the act.” Management frequently falls back on having the resident contact non-emergency law enforcement in order to resolve issues with other residents. If you believe another resident has violated a clause within the lease, expect to have to send numerous emails to management in order for lease violations to be sent out.
In regard to the clubhouse and pool areas, residents are allowed to have two guests per unit at a time. The clubhouse is not available for residents to reserve. Management utilizes the clubhouse for events hosted by them.
Madison has also stated to me that “there are things that go on behind the scenes” after I inquired how the issues I stated above would be remedied. Revel residents can expect speed bumps and/or traffic signs (at some point in the not so near future).
If you are thinking about moving here, do not. Revel Greensboro units are far too expensive for the issues that I stated above to be continuously reoccurring. It should be noted that I only disclosed a few of the ongoing issues, there are more.
