STAY FAR AWAY
The only reason I’m giving this place one star is because of Kim, the property manager. She has always been helpful, professional, and genuinely cares about the residents. Unfortunately, she can’t fix the bigger problems.
Since Hurricane Helene (which was 632 days ago), we watched the amenities disappear while the complex continues advertising them as if nothing has changed. Residents have been incredibly patient, but there’s a difference between recovering from a storm and simply not making... repairs.
TThe pool is the biggest example. It was open last year, but this year it remains closed weeks after the normal Memorial Day opening. Residents have been given multiple conflicting explanations, including that the pool phone wasn’t working, the inspector was out of town, the clubhouse bathroom still needed repairs, and other reasons. When we contacted the inspector directly, his explanation didn’t match what management had told residents and he said that management is not responding to him.
What bothers me most is the priority. There always seems to be time and money to market the property and bring in new tenants, but not to restore the amenities for the people who already live here. It’s hard not to feel like current residents have been forgotten.
With all these inconveniences, they still had the audacity to raise the rent for all current tenants screwing us over yet again. The reason for raising the rent… they said it was because they cleaned the gutters :/ no promise date of reopening any of the amenities that they still advertise to attract new residents.
If you’re considering living here because of the pool, clubhouse, gym, or other amenities, verify what is actually available before signing a lease—not just what is advertised.
Beyond the missing amenities, we’ve experienced slow maintenance responses, poor-quality repairs, contractors who appear to do substandard work, potholes throughout the parking lot, and deteriorating property conditions. It often feels like attracting new residents is a higher priority than taking care of the people who already live here. I could go on forever but I will end with this, STAY FAR AWAY!!!!
