Haven at Birkdale Village

The problem started from the very day I moved in with accounting problems with my prorated rent. After I moved in, I discovered that the area was super noisy and there were frequent incidents where the cops had to come and even a SWAT team one time. I vacated a long time ago, but now their enforcing an extra months rent even though I told them I was moving out in an email. Guess I'll be handling this in court. Look elsewhere!

Birkdale Haven is an incredibly magical place to live. I could list the amenities of the area but you can easily see google the stores and restaurants. But the TRUE amenities are the staff and management that run this community. Savannah, to start really helped me and my family not only navigate the application but everything else after move in. She continually checks on us and if there are issues she jumps on the opportunity to fix it for us. She is a huge reason WHY I chose to live here. The... rest of the staff is also amazing. This property is amazing. I love living here and I never plan to move. Great location.

I’ve lived here over a year and can honestly say I would not recommend, especially with the insane rates they are currently offering. It may look like a fun spot and the leasing office may be responsive as a future resident, but living here is much different. There is no notification from the office about road closures, construction, or any other activity that may impact your enjoyment of your home. Parking is not enforced, so it’s difficult to find a spot close to your building. There is... frequently litter throughout, especially if you are close to the Walgreens. The pool has been closed more this summer than it has been open and when it’s open it’s not even enjoyable because it’s the temperature of bath water. The office does not care about its residents and will often only respond after multiple follow up emails. Crime is increasing with Fink’s broken into twice in the last two weeks, once during the day. Traffic is loud if you live on the main stretch. Also beware that your rent will likely increase $300-500 based on conversations I’ve had with long time residents after I received an increase with little time before I needed to give notice to move out. I currently live here, have put in service request twice and still not been fixed. The leasing office never answers the phone so you have to go down there to get help.

I can’t wait to move out.
