I would advise against renting in this community. I’ve encountered homeless sleeping on the property during a dark morning, I found a syringe across from the playground, but most concerning are the permanently unlocked doors to my building the leasing office has not had fixed or changed out for another key system for over 18 MONTHS. Another tenant props open a door with trash daily, advertising to passing homeless that the warm building is unlocked. (I’ve paid “luxury” rental pricing for nearly… 2 years that will likely go into escrow until the door locks are replaced or I move early without penalty, as this is unacceptable.)

Leasing office management sent this email regarding the building security maintenance request I submitted online:
“We will be removing Work Order #123479 as it does not qualify for a maintenance request. Per your conversation with one of our maintenance techs, Shawn, this is not a work order and to please contact our courtesy officers if your concern continues.

We do our best when we see a door propped to remove whatever is keeping it open at that time. Regards to the secure access buildings, they are an amenity, meaning we do not charge any residents to be in one of these buildings any additional fee We are diligently working with the fob system in the secure access buildings but are unfortunately at the mercy of our vendors.

Please note and be aware that you do not pay a premium for a secured access building. The open access and secure access buildings are the same price. Our premiums (which start at $25 and go up by $5 for each additional) are the following:
Vaulted ceilings
First floor apartments
Corner balcony/patio
Courtyard view

The Address Galleria has been a great place to us. We are in between in buying/building a house, we decided to lease here for short-term and they have been nothing short of terrific for us! Although we are very excited to move into our new house, we are sad to leave this place.

I have lived here now for 5 months and love it! I love the area of Matthews and the staff here is so friendly and willing to go the long haul for their residents. I have recommended them to friends.

I never leave reviews but I had to for this place...We went on a tour, which was really awesome and we wanted to live here and we had picked out a unit. But once we called to speak with someone about signing a lease, we had the worst customer service ever. No response, called 15+ times and no one would answer. We emailed Branden and the leasing office so many times and they would not reply either. We got on the phone with Branden, he put us on hold for 35 minutes and then hung up on us without… any response back. All we wanted to do was give you our money, it makes no sense....If they will treat you this way during the leasing process, they certainly won't treat you well while you live there. We found an apartment 10 minutes away, I'd suggest going elsewhere than with Address Galleria. Only good that came out of it is if you tour, they give you free Starbucks gift cards lol. Read More
