So far, we have had a positive experience. Our unit is beautiful and was very clean when we moved in. We really enjoy the amenities that are offered as well.

Pros:
- Apartment was in great condition upon move in
- The pool is very nice and has good seating
-Overall decent value for the price.
Cons:
- The gym isn't fully functional for weightlifters and people focusing on strength. First, the benches are INCREDIBLY difficult and inconvenient to use. You have to unscrew a pin to adjust it, then screw it back in while holding up the entire seat. Second, the cables are really old and in kilograms for whatever reason, so tracking workouts is almost... impossible. Overall needs better benches, a squat rack that isn't a smith machine, and more weight machines.
- PARKING: the building has 80% of it's parking on one side of the complex. If you get home after 7pm you're going to have to walk a few minutes in the dark. I'd suggest building more spaces in the empty grass by the dog park.
- Not sure if this is normal but the parking stickers tell literally everyone the apartment building you live at which is really unsafe, especially for young women.

The amenities are very nice and clean. The soundproofing between apartments is fairly nice. The apartments are very spacious with many drawers and cabinets for storage.

The Dakota is a wonderful place so far! Very nice amenities and the staff is very nice. We have loved living here so far. The parking is easy and the pool is so nice and very spacious. Have not heard any noises from other apartments either, a very quiet area.
