Don't rent

My son and 3 of his roommates rented a garden apartment from Preiss. Since moving it since been a series of issues from:
* broken fridge took a month to get fixed
* broken oven took a month to get fixed
* broken washing machine the flooded the carpet
And most recently he had an infestation of termites which required a fumigation and loss of use of his room.

He asked to released from his lease but was told that was only possible through a subleasing. He got a replacement renter but Preiss... would not even consider giving him ANY leeway to vacate 2 months before new renter took over. There's NO WAY to get out of the lease no matter how bad the place is.
