Summerlin Ridge Apartments

We moved here from the northeast over the summer and are very happy with our choice. After previous moves, we came to town about 8 weeks before moving to look at apartments in person. Despite there not being a free unit to view, because of the in-process renovations, the location, quiet small community, and warm staff lead us to sign a lease without seeing the unit. After filling out an application, we visited other backup properties around town. We found unwelcoming staff or less than desirable… units at other prosperities in the same price range, leading us to be even happier with our decision.

Now having been here a few months, we love this property! After having lived in 5 different rental properties across the country over the past decade, this is by far the quietest. I was surprised despite the number of colleges around with how quiet the property is at all hours. The average age of fellow renters appears to be 30-50, and we have had zero noise issues. Despite being close to major shopping and highways, the property is set back enough from the congestion that it is quiet without traffic or street noise, which was also a great surprise.

We moved in the day after the maintenance guy had left for another job and they were in search of a replacement. And whenever you move into a unit that had been occupied for more than a decade by someone else, you find small things that need fixing. One of the women in the office willingly came and changed things like the air filter herself, while the owner of the properties’ son on his day off his regular job came and moved in our new washer and dryer. So, while everyone always complains in reviews about maintenance issues, I can say the staff once notified had a quick response.

Though the buildings date back about 20 years, the original floorplans are spacious with larger bedrooms and living rooms than we have had in our last two rentals. The large windows allow lots of natural light. And the updates they have made to the kitchens and bathrooms with a fresh coat of white paint on the sold wood cabinets help to brighten both spaces.
