I would highly recommended this apartment complex. I have lived here for almost 2 years and have enjoyed it. Courtney in the office is awesome. All the staff is friendly & helpful. Most maintenance issues are resolved within 24 hours. The pool is rarely crowded & the exercise room is open after hours. Occasionally, there will be a loud neighbor outside but it isn't often. I only have 2 complaints about my apartment. One is that my appliances are old even though the apartment has been updated.… And the second is that I can smell the cigarette smoke from my neighbor's apartment through the vents. Relocating to the area within 1 week notice, the staff managed to get a unit together for us. It has been wonderful.

You may want to consider renting somewhere else. I lived here for 6 years. These apartments are not updated nor insulated well. The heating is different in different rooms. The appliances are old and the cabinets are wooden. I had mice and roaches in my apartment and they didn't really do much of anything about it. I'm not talking 1 or two mice. I saw 9 total. Because of the woods, I saw roaches (the big ones) quite often. I had to apply to another apartment complex before they did anything… about it. The maintenance men were great. The leasing managers however, have no sense of urgency about anything and they forget things all the time. And the work-out room is not really a workout room. I have been living at the The Trails for a year now and I absolutely love it here! The office staff and maintenance guys are wonderful! Anytime I have a maintenance problem it is taken care of the same day. The girls in the office are very knowledgeable and are super friendly! The manager doesn't put up with any junk either. I really respect how she keeps the property up! I would definitely recommend this apartment community.
