I do not think I would ever recommend this apartment complex to anyone. For the renovated apartments, it is a decent price for the appearance (new appliances, fresh white trim, etc.), but I’ve learned appearance isn’t everything! They do not fine for not picking up your dog poop - it’s everywhere! You can’t step foot in the dog park without stepping on some. It’s also all over the complex as well. There are many aggressive dogs, and they do not enforce keeping dogs on leashes. My corgi was… attacked multiple times by other dogs, to the point where he became afraid of other dogs. Thomasbrook pays for heat because the windows are terrible. Mine had a crack to the outside between the panes, and during the winter I would get ice on the inside of my apartment. The office does not do a great job at answering calls or responding to emails. Our hallway constantly smelled, and the doors are so thin so you can hear everything going on in the other apartments. I give it two stars simply because you cannot beat the location and access to Holmes Lake. At first glance it looks like a great apartment with a great value, but the finishings are so bad (there was grout on my shower faucet) and it is so poorly managed that I would recommend looking elsewhere, even if it means paying a little more.
