Blending rustic charm with modern conveniences, this cabin features a traditional log design with unique touches like hand-carved bear accents and a cozy soapstone wood stove, along with AC and heating provided by energy-efficient mini splits in each space. For peace of mind, a full-house generator ensures your stay remains comfortable, even in unexpected weather. Solar panels make this home green too. For your comfort, the living room futons have been replaced with a cozy sectional, perfect for snuggling up watching TV or the flames dancing in the wood stove. And there's more, a full bathroom with heated floors and a washer and dryer is expected to be completed by Spring 2025.

Step outside to enjoy a stunning masonry fire pit, hot tub, private beach shared only with other guests of the Moose Lodge and Cabins, and breathtaking landscapes perfect for wildlife viewing. With walking trails leading to wetlands, ponds, and riverfront paths, you'll find plenty to explore right on the property. The Ammonoosuc River, known for its excellent fishing, also offers a refreshing spot for swimming and tubing in the summer. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, including moose, eagles, and the occasional bear, and enjoy one of the best spots in New England for moose sightings just a short walk from the cabin. Lower Falls, one of the area's favorite swimming holes, is also an easy walk from the house. From this central location, the best of the White Mountains is at your doorstep. Ski Bretton Woods, just 1 mile away, or explore the iconic Mount Washington Hotel, the Cog Railway, and an array of nearby ski resorts, including Cannon, Wildcat, and Attitash. Beyond skiing, you'll find countless activities, including hiking, golfing, fishing, waterfalls, and family attractions like Santa's Village, Storyland, and the Lost River Gorge.
Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 11 AM. Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability. A digital guidebook is provided before arrival. Lock codes are provided 1-hour before check-in subject to signing the rental agreement. All interactions are virtual, but our office team and ground crew are available for assistance. The total number of guests at the property must not exceed the number listed in the booking. A nightly extra guest fee may apply for guests above the standard occupancy up to the maximum number of allowable guests. Dogs are allowed, maximum of 5 dogs, any other types of animals require approval. All pets including Emotional Support Animals are subject to a pet fee per pet. Dogs should not be left unattended in units if there is potential for them to damage the property. Respectful noise levels are required, with quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM. Your unit will be stocked with a starter set of consumables including toilet paper, paper towels, a sponge, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, and coffee filters. Additional supplies should be provided by the guest. A whole house generator will keep the lights on even in the event of an outage. There is whole-house AC provided by 3 mini split units. There is a wood stove on the main level. Firewood is not provided but can be purchased and conveniently delivered to your rental or purchased from other local vendors. This unit has a propane grill and propane is supplied. This unit has a fire pit. No unauthorized fires are allowed. State and local laws regulate the use of fire pits, grills, other open flames, and fireworks. Only use provided grills and fireplaces. Permits are required to use fire pits in NH. Parking is limited to 4 cars. Trailers are allowed. Each property has parking limits based on capacity and or potential rules of the Homeowner's Association. Guests must abide by these limitations to protect the physical property and the space of neighbors. Additional vehicles must be parked in specified overflow parking areas. Trailers or RVs may not be parked at any property without permission. Excess vehicles may be towed. Access from parking to the front door requires 2 small steps. Trash and recycling dumpsters are on-site. This home does not have a dishwasher. Ice skating rink use is subject to weather and ice conditions. This is an amenity offered at no cost, no refunds are given if the rink cannot be used for any reason. Rural homes may encounter pests like bears, mice, lady beetles, and wasps. To minimize this, trash should not be left outside. We actively manage these situations while prioritizing environmentally friendly methods and limiting the use of chemicals.
