For large groups or events, the home can be rented alongside the other cabins that make up the Moose Lodge and Cabins, including Bear Cabin, Owl Roost, The Yurt, and, when available, West Mountain Lodge. Inside, the Moose Lodge is equally impressive, blending rustic charm with modern comfort. A double kitchen set-up, multiple entertainment areas, and a cozy gas fireplace ensure there's something for everyone. Just two minutes from Bretton Woods Ski Resort, this home is perfectly positioned for year-round adventures.
Step outside to indulge in nature's beauty, with access to the stunning backyard with pond, waterfalls, outdoor kitchen and fire pits, a relaxing hot tub, and a private beach shared exclusively with guests of Moose Lodge and Cabins. The Ammonoosuc River, renowned for its excellent fishing, also provides refreshing spots for swimming and tubing during the summer months. Firewood is not provided but can be purchased on our website and conveniently delivered to your rental or purchased from other local vendors. Beyond skiing, the area offers year-round excitement with hiking trails, world-class golfing, fishing, cascading waterfalls, and family-friendly destinations like Santa's Village, Storyland, and the Lost River Gorge.
Check-in is at 4 PM and Check-out is at 11 AM. Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability. A digital guidebook is provided before arrival. Lock codes are provided 1-hour before check-in subject to signing the rental agreement. All interactions are virtual, but our office team and ground crew are available for assistance. The total number of guests at the property must not exceed the number listed in the booking. A nightly extra guest fee may apply for guests above the standard occupancy up to the maximum number of allowable guests. Dogs are allowed, maximum of 5 dogs, while any other types of animals require approval. All pets except for Service Animals are subject to a Pet Fee per pet. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Your unit will be stocked with a starter set of consumables including toilet paper, paper towels, a sponge, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, coffee filters, etc. Additional supplies should be provided by the guest. The home provides live streaming TV via YouTubeTV. TVs are also equipped with Roku devices for additional entertainment options including Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, and more. There is a partial-house generator that will keep most of the house running in the event of a power outage. There is AC provided by mini splits in the primary bedroom, living room, and downstairs living area. There is a gas fireplace in the main living room. This unit has a propane grill and propane is supplied. This unit has a fire pit. No unauthorized fires. State and local laws regulate the use of fire pits, grills, other open flames, and fireworks. Only use provided grills and fireplaces. Permits are required to use fire pits in NH. Parking is limited to 6 cars. Access from parking to the front door requires climbing a staircase. Trash and recycling dumpsters are on site. Ice skating rink use is subject to weather and ice conditions. This is an amenity we offer at no cost, no refunds are given if the rink cannot be used for any reason. Rural homes may encounter pests like bears, mice, lady beetles, and wasps. To minimize this, we ask that trash not be left outside. We actively manage these situations while prioritizing environmentally friendly methods and limiting the use of chemicals.
