There are three bedrooms, one queen, one full, and one with two twin beds. The house has beautifully refinished wood floors. The walls are original - refinished horsehair plaster. In keeping with a house of this age nothing is perfectly square. The steps to the 2nd floor bedrooms are steeper than most. Children love them. Families have spent countless hours playing in the river.
The house is cozy in both summer and winter with zoned heating and ample air conditioning. Internet negotioable. The kitchen is fully equipped. A sanitizing dishwasher, a fancy five burner convection oven/range and a three stage whole house water filtration system that leaves your skin soft and fresh delivers delicious drinking water are recent upgrades.
As I wrote this description a bald eagle flew low over the covered bridge and landed close by on a tree. Great Blue Heron's, Kingfishers, Mergansers with annual broods, Wood Ducks, and many other birds are commonly seen.
