I just received an email stating that beginning with renewal terms that start in January 2026, Autumn Ridge will begin billing residents for water and sewer.
So besides the rising rent and all the other issues that this place has (mold, broken washers and dryers, elevator, lack of available parking), tenants will now have to pay additional fee for utilities.

Not what it used to be.
I’ve lived here for over a decade and this place has gone seriously downhill. They got rid of the swimming pool a few yrs ago, first claiming they were renovating it then it was because the lifeguards wouldn’t come to work. Yet, right up the street at Cherrywood Apartments, their pool is constantly staffed and open to their tenants, same with Jamestown Square and they revamped the fitness center but it mostly cardio and leg machines and one shoulder press. If your neighbor smokes, but yourself... an air purifier because your apartment will smell like it. Tenants speed through the parking lot and in once case, a car crashed into several parked cars. There is NO notification when maintenance is working in your building or if access to your building is closed due to construction. So be prepared for the loud noise if you don’t work during the day. On site laundry but the access is limited to certain hours and the machines are usually busted or always taken. The office staff is rude and unresponsive to complaints and they do nothing about the speeding, dog poop everywhere, kids running around unsupervised, and a ton of other issues, unless you have the RIGHT complexion. Parking is limited to 2 per unit, and no assigned parking, so you better get home before 5 or good luck. There is discarded cat and tuna cans everywhere to feed the flea and possibly mange infested stray cats.only positive is that it’s proximity to Rt. 42, otherwise save your money, there are FAR better options.

Terrible
I been here for a few years and hate it . There’s a constant plumber problems , bugs and the apartment is cheaply made . Everything falls apartment and maintenance don’t know how to fix things at all . The parking is terrible also be prepared to park super far from your apartment . There so many drug dealers and recently a shooting that just happened . Also they will have your car towed . The cops are always here cause something is always happening . I can’t wait to move

The worst. Do not move here.
This community has been named an “award winning gated community” but I am curious as to what the award is for. This is one of the poorest ran complexes I have ever been apart of or seen in my entire life. There is constant noise, trash everywhere ALWAYS, the leasing staff is pleasant, but useless. I would not recommend anyone moving here. They have contracted a towing company that will tow your car EVEN IF YOU ARE A RESIDENT. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. If you are just... getting started on life, I MIGHT recommend (even then I probably wouldn’t due to the outrageous pricing to value ratio), but other than that there are way better options out there, trust me. The pool was open for TWO days after opening a month late. They had to shut the pool down due to lack of preparation and unwillingness to pay to have the pool fixed properly. I am being as honest as I would want someone to be with me. This place is UNBEARABLE. Look elsewhere!
