Wouldn’t Recommend
I stayed here for a while and overall, my experience was very mixed. There are definitely some positives—the concierge staff is always friendly and welcoming, the gym is decent, having an in-unit washer and dryer is super convenient, and maintenance usually responds pretty quickly when something needs to be fixed.
However, the downsides really outweigh the perks. The parking gate is broken constantly, sometimes staying down for months at a time. The elevators are unreliable and go out often,... which gets frustrating fast—especially if you live on a higher floor. There’s also no overnight guest parking, which makes it hard for friends or family to visit. My entire first year I had no hot water, and it only slightly improved after I filed a complaint with City Hall. Even after that, there were still cold water issues, especially in the winter. Roaches are a problem too—definitely not unusual in the city, but they could be doing a lot more about it. And for some reason, GPS tends to lead people to the back of the building, so packages sometimes end up at a random house behind the property.
On top of all this, rent goes up about 4% every year. With all the ongoing issues, that kind of increase just doesn’t make sense. If anything, management should be offering some kind of deal or incentive for long-term tenants who continue to renew their leases despite all the problems. As it is, it’s hard to say the price is worth it.
