Property Address: 190 ACADEMY St, Jersey City, NJ 07306
The buildings fine at face value, but given you’re in a shoe box you can tell it was made quite cheaply. I moved in and the apartment was not in a great condition. My floor boards are coming up, my microwave’s stove top light broke, and my fridge leaks all over the place. In the winter the rooms get so hot even without the A/C especially whenever you cook or shower. The hot water takes forever to warm up. They changed the wifi provider to a cheaper one and it’s pretty bad now, and the amenity... fee is a scam especially in the winter when you don’t even use the roof top (which is always a mess). Also, you’d think because the apartments are so small, they’d have some degree of working space to get out of your shoe box every now and then, but even with a $175 amenity fee, all they have is a hotel-sized gym and a tiny lounge.
If you’re willing to spend 200-300 more per month there’s way better in the area.
