Used to be great - not so much anymore - here's the tea

I’ve lived here nearly 4 years. It started off great, but after new management took over, the quality plummeted—while rent steadily increased.

Parking: There aren’t enough resident spots. Visitor cars regularly park in them. Management sends warnings but doesn’t enforce them.

Pet Rules: There’s a 2-pet, 85 lb limit with breed restrictions—none of it enforced. Aggressive dogs are common. I saw a pit bull attack a poodle across from my home two days ago. People don’t always pick up after their...
dogs—maintenance does it instead of holding anyone accountable.

Grounds & Landscaping: If you’re on the first floor or in a townhouse, don’t leave anything by your patio. Dogs will ruin it, and lawn crews mow or weed-whack over it at 6am Monday morning.

Trash: Dumpsters regularly overflow. Trash is often scattered. People dump trash here from outside. Residents gave up caring—and management has too.

Maintenance: HVAC fails every season. AC freezes in spring, heat won’t kick on in fall. Shower water is either ice or lava despite multiple repair attempts. Leaky faucets and drywall cracks are constant. The roof’s already been replaced twice in three years, as have the streets and lots. Take caution with the garbage disposal—if it clogs, we all get threatening emails. I gave up on our slow tub drain and now just use commercial Draino monthly.

Mail & Packages – the real disaster:
They forced us into a “secure” locker system in the leasing office for all packages. There aren’t enough lockers, and overflow goes to an unsecured back room—no lock, no tracking, no system. Deliveries go missing, are misfiled, or never show up. The notification system rarely works—only if your item lands in a locker and the delivery driver logs it (which they usually don’t).

To make matters worse, our complex isn’t properly mapped for delivery services, so packages sent directly to homes often get misdelivered. That’s why they introduced the locker system—but they rolled it out badly, blamed residents when it failed, and now refuse to fix it. No one manages it. It doesn’t work. Staff have clearly been yelled at so much they’ve stopped caring. It’s a mess—and management just. doesn’t. care.

Office Staff: Used to be helpful and friendly. Not anymore—especially the off-hours answering service. High turnover, low morale, and zero concern for residents. This place used to be great. Now, it’s just exhausting.

Maybe if you’re desperate

Lived here for a year and honestly couldn’t be happier to be gone. The apartment was nice when we first moved in, but as time went on more and more problems arose. Our tub would back flow with water from the people above us which was gross. Our apartment had bugs everywhere. The appliances were pieces of crap. Then when we left they screwed us and took $800 of the $1000 deposit saying that we ruined the carpets with stains and they needed to replace the entire carpet which is a bunch of crap. No... wonder it was so nice when we moved in- they probably charged the last person for a new carpet too. Not to mention they charged us for not returning a pool pass we never got. Not worth it- look elsewhere.

Coronavirus silence, rude management

I called the leasing office yesterday and asked to speak to the property manager. I asked would a communication come out stating what precautions the community would be taking to safeguard against the corona virus. She immediately responded as if she had an attitude stating what precautions are you talking about. This response both was Ridiculous and scared me. I advised her they could communicate workers would stay home when sick. Will sanitize themselves when entering and exiting homes would... sanitize areas they come in Contact with. Other entities are also having workers wear PPE when entering people’s homes. She responded her workers already know not to work when sick and also stated well it’s your home they could just not come in to your house. She further stated she just doesn’t get exactly what I want stating it’s not like we are a public health facility (something like that maybe a different phrase) comments and attitudes such as this is what allows for the spread of viruses Such as the corona virus. Excusing you’re responsibility to those living with you because this is a home is a catastrophic failure on her part and allows for uncertainty during an already scary time. What she did not know when she wanted to be so rude is that she was speaking to a public health professional so I know these things and was calling to assist if needed since I didn’t see anything come out. One of the largest spread of SARS in the US was in a living community because it wasn’t taken serious and precautionary measures were not put in place the community also had no system of reporting and disseminating information if someone had come down with the virus. Until further notice however as she stated her team of maintenance workers and her office will not be allowed in my home. I will not be putting in any maintenance request and will continue to await a formal written plan of action while we continue to navigate COVID-19. Hopefully nothing does happen but it is important to still be prepared. Also there is no reason to be rude because someone ask you a question.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Worst. Management. Ever.
The property manager is a woman child. She throws temper tantrums and talks to her paying tenants like we’re idiots. She definitely lacks class & any ounce of sanity.

They don’t enforce their parking “rules” all the time, only when they feel like it. So random people will park in resident spots & you’ll have to park out in a far away spot.

Oh, and the upkeep of this property is horrendous. Cracks in walls. Bugs. You name it...you’ll call maintenance monthly - maybe...
weekly - here.

Just avoid this place. Super unprofessional and you’ll regret moving here, trust me. You’re better off literally anywhere else.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. SPARE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE.

This place is HORRIBLE. I can not even believe how rude the staff is. I have gotten letters threatening to evict me, saying that I have done things that NEVER HAPPENED. And they had NO proof. The laundry facilities, don't work. The dryers will not dry your clothes and your "clean clothes" come out dirty. People who do not live here will park in front of your apartment, leaving you having to park in the visitor's parking and walk around the block. Most importantly, the staff accidentally sent an... exterminator into my apartment in the morning. Gave him my key and he came into my apartment without warning while I was asleep. Needless to say I woke up completely terrified of the man in my house. When I called, the response I got was "That's my bad." No apology. The oven is horribly old and dirty. The place is just falling apart. Everything is cheaply made. This place is robbing me and it will be a weight lifted off my shoulders when I can finally get out of here. I AM TELLING YOU DO NOT MOVE HERE.
