Would Recommend to Anyone

I lived here for for almost two years and have to say it was nothing but the best. The fast response and care for the people was always first in the managements teams mind. The location of the apartments are prime for enjoying the beach, getting onto the highway, and fun for the nightlife with many busy towns near by.

If I ever move back to the area I will have West Park first in mind!

Current resident 5+ years

Pros-
Good location and surrounding area, good local resturaunts within walking distance, nearby to the shore.

Cons-
Buildings are old and in need of repair.
Balconies failed inspection and took over a year to fix due to mismanagement. This left residents without balconies and no compensation was offered.
Concerning stress cracks in walls, brushed off by management.
High rent increases. Rent increased by 5-10% per year.

Overall- Not recommended

Disappointed current resident who has been here for 7 years

Everything in the apartment is falling apart. My neighbor upstairs is horrible, leaves the dog home alone all day long who barks and cries all day. They flooded our apartment when they decided to not turn off the bath. Our hardwood floors are raising and buckling. Dealing with mold, trip hazard, horrible landlord and horrible neighbors. Can’t wait to move.

Horrible

The lady in the office Jeena doesn’t know what she is doing. Says one thing does another. I would find somewhere else to live. Apartment’s aren’t even nice.

As a new tenant moving in you have to pay a water bill for everyone who lives there. The people who have lived there for years do not pay water.

Do yourself a favor and find a nicer apartment and don’t be ripped off.

They are punishing all Renters

Just learned that West Park Manor in Ocean Twp new owners are making all residents take away all porch and balcony decorations. So you pay high rent and can't enjoy your balcony and porch. Beware everyone who rents here. New owners get with the program. People want to enjoy their apartments and that is considered living space. Don't punish all bc of some. Hope everyone moves out on you. Lots of other places with cheaper rents. Walk away friends bc this is so wrong when you can't enjoy the… outdoors on "YOUR" rented space, Email went out today 6/27/22 all residents are furious.

Unfortunately, some Residents misunderstood the context of the letter sent out two weeks ago. You absolutely have the right (and we encourage) you to use the balcony or patio of your apartment home! The purpose of the letter was to notify our valued… Residents that ONLY outdoor furniture and one or two plants are permitted. We do not allow sofas or indoor chairs / vegetable plants / tires / bikes / toys / motorized vehicles, etc. to be stored on the patio and balconies. This is for the benefit and safety of all or our Residents. If you have any specific questions, please do not hesitate to contact the on-site office and speak with the Property Manager.
