Maintenance doesn't get anything done!

Ive had an issue with my washer and dryer for over 3 months and no one has assisted me at all I have had to go the laundromat ever since it broke!

Longest year of my life

These apartments are from the 50s and it's noticeable from the squeaky floor boards and stairs. The air conditioning units do not cool the rooms. The walls are so thin that you could hear your neighbors TV and even talking. There are FREIGHT TRAINS that pass behind the apartments at all times of the day and night. The apartments are so close to the rail that you could feel and hear your stuff rumbling as it passes by, not to mention the noise so loud that you can't peacefully watch TV. I have to… pause it and wait for it to pass, or put on noise cancelling headphones. One of the previous reviewers mentioned management does not care and I fully agree with that. There are plenty newer constructions in the area for around the same price. Definitely not worth the rent that they have the nerve to raise. I have been wanting to move out since my first day here. I'm almost there. 3 more months to go!!

Bayberry Gardens

It has been three weeks now that I have transitioned from home owner to apartment renter. This area is very quiet,but only if you exclude the random freight trains that clickity clack along the railroad tracks that seem an arms length away. The vibrations and swaying of the floors and walls and plants, and the eye opening mouth-dropping sounds of train cars are ALMOST a comforting sound that reminds me of the love of trains as a child and a reminder of the constant flurry of activity outside our… doors and windows. It is a freedom from worry that something needs repair or the constant maintenance of keeping a home. Did I mention the pitter-patter of little feet above my head remind me of my now grown children? It makes me smile, except of course when I'm ready for slumber and have to awaken at 5:30am for work as a nurse! Actually, what I meant was horses hooves and monkeys jumping AND falling off the bed! So far, though, I'm happy here. Neighbors are quiet as well as kind and helpful. The absolute BEST part? My most adorable loving sweetest kitty I've ever owned gets to share in the fun! I guess I'll stay for a year!!!
