If you value peace, quiet, nice neighbors, and a decent super & management company I have to say look elsewhere.
We are new tenants, moved in Late October. The unit was nice, clean, spacious but importantly the rent was cheapest we found in this town so we signed lease. Once we moved in we regretted it. Before we moved in the upstairs neighbors moved in. The have small kids but we have small kids so we expected some level of noise like toys dropping, kids being excited etc. but these neighbors love to have parties and play loud music until very late even on weekdays. They have had 5 parties since we moved... here and they start around 2-4 pm and end between 8-11:30 pm, days of the week vary but 1 of these parties took place this Monday. I have spoken to the super (who is a very rude man who acts like he is doing you a favor by fixing something) Nothing changed. I contact the management company and the person I was dealing with when signing lease, still nothing. I spoke to another tenants attached to us and they too have complained and nothing. Your home should be a place you can enjoy and relax in but this is not that place. We just started lease so we are stuck for a year but we are not happy and won’t be staying. Another tenant has mentioned she is looking to leave too as soon as her lease is up in a few months. So again If you value peace, quiet, nice neighbors, and a decent super & management company I have to say look elsewhere. The cheaper rent does not make up for this level of stress. Good Luck in Your home search.
