Good: close to shops and businesses, lands are kept up with nicely, neighbors and kids were friendly.
Bad: termites hatched in our bathroom 2 years in a row, I have emails and photos. We were told the first time it happened that the issue was solved, but it happened again the next year. Hoping it was actually resolved. Heat stopped working in winter and maintenance didn't come out for 3 days. Management doesn't care about raising the price of rent $100 or more a month each year. Wrote them a… letter expressing my disappointment that our monthly rent was raised by an additional $170 before ending our lease and they essentially just said good luck in the future. Didn't seem like they cared. The apartments seem nicely updated on the surface but they paint over light switches and don't install trim or lights correctly. Lots of things falling apart or broken, vents being installed incorrectly and our tub leaked for months and maintenance couldn't figure it out. My husband ended up caulking the tub on his own. Very frustrating time. Couldn't even stay there for 2 years. Be wary. You pay for the location but unfortunately not much else. We lived in the 2 bed 1 bath model 2018-2021. The apartment was renovated prior to move in but not in high quality fashion (poor paint job, loose cabinet hinges). The grounds are well kept but the building common areas need updating (rusty, stained steps and damaged doors). We had in unit washer/dryer so no experience with the shared units. There is an issue with pest control. There are a lot of squirrels on the grounds that damaged our deck furniture, chewed through the gas line in one of our… cars (costly repair) and on more than one occasion got inside of our air vents. We were on the third floor and also had a lot of bees/wasps on our deck in the summer months. The air conditioning units are also inefficient. In the summer months it will run continuously resulting in $300+ electric bills. Perks are location and proximity to Patco. Also a generally peaceful neighborhood with lots of places to walk around. I moved in Fall 2020. I thought it was a good deal. Come find out why as the apartment was a really bad shape. Looked like they hadn’t changed the air filter in years. Rotted drywall in kitchen behind cabinets and stove meant lots of insects. One weekend the kitchen got flooded because the pipes in the service closet look all rusted. Top it all off, in a building with 12 units sharing 2 laundry machines and driers, one drier broke down in November 2020 and still hasn’t been fixed 5 Months… later

The management in the office is pleasant enough, and they were largely able to fix issues as they came up, but overall for what they charge it’s a rip off Read More

I loved at the Vista for two years.

Pros: conveniently located to PATCO, 295, NJ Turnpike
Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby

Cons: overpriced
Need to be gutted to the studs and completely redone
Electric bills are absolutely insane
The washer/dryer combo takes about 6 hours for one load of laundry to wash and dry.

We also had a 2 bed 2 bath and in the summer months were paying around 450$ in electric bills for a 900 square foot apartment. The area is nice but you can find better places… around for 3-400$ less. The apartments look nice at first, but we soon realized that there was a lot of shoddy work done to the place to get it to be livable. The moldings on the doors and flooring are scraped up, chipped and they just repainted over it. The HVAC systems in the apartment need to be updated. The systems are way too small to cool the apartment so they constantly run (literally 24/7) and therefore the electric bill skyrockets. Maintenance takes awhile to come out to address any issues, but that’s more on management. The maintenance guys are very overworked. Management should look into hiring more guys.
