Stay Away- Scam Alert

Don't be fooled by a small deposit. When you leave, you may get hit with replacement of carpet in a room. Best Advice: Find fault with everything in the apartment, carpet, bathroom tile, floor. Because if you leave out anything that is where they will hit you. I am sure they will do the samething with the next resident without replacing the carpet for which they charged me. The worst part is they send your account to collections right after you move out. The water bill is outrageous because you… pay for the water used in sprinklers on the whole property.

Great Location.... But you can never leave!

I lived here for about 3 years. The location is beautiful.

The apartment complex itself is old and getting run down, the apartments suffer from leaks, plumbing issues, and rot.

The tour apartment is nothing like the actual apartment. I felt very bait and switched with no other options.

The move out policy is very restrictive. 60 days plus 2 months rent and they don't tell you that until move in day.

They have a lot of crime problems and vandalism problems. This causes most of the… amenities listed to be unavailable for the residents for months on end.

Parking is a problem and the solution was to park in fire lanes.

Rent increases are about 20%.

Deceptive business

As long as you understand you are paying to live in the area and not for any costumer service, care, or concern from the office staff. There were a string of car break ins and an apartment break in and the office staff hardly seem concerned about it. In fact, they delete posts regarding these instances from their community forum. They want the complex to appear perfect when really they are cheap and unsafe. The locks are easily picked and they aren't even willing to change the locks. This self… serving, money hungry attitude applies to all their business areas. The move in walk through was meager and all my concerns were dismissed with "well that's just old." Also not kid friendly

A great apartment complex

I have lived at Altezza High Desert for a number of years now. I enjoy the scenic view afforded by this complex, and the great variety in apartments offered. I would also say that the maintenance staff at this complex is second to none in the readiness and ability to fix any apartment problems that have happened over the seven years. The office staff has always been friendly and helpfull to me, no matter what the problem. The general property manager is most accomodating and open to resident… suggestions and concerns.

Not worth it.

There were a lot of problems with out apartment on move-in that we discovered over time. A door fell off its hinge within a week. The sliding doors on the closets, as well as the sliding screen door on the porch fell off their tracks often as a result of being old and worn out. One of the locks on the front door was inoperable. The appliances are not modern and we saw spiders inside a few times per week.
