Black Mold and Bug Infested
Extremely disappointing experience with this apartment management. When we moved in, there was severe mold and mildew in both the washer and dishwasher. I cleaned it myself to avoid being a nuisance, but that should’ve never been left to a tenant.
Shortly after, we developed black mold in our windows—a serious health concern. It took months of them half-heartedly wiping it down before they finally replaced the windows.
Then came the ant infestation.
We started seeing ants back in March,... reported it early, and were told to handle it ourselves with traps and spray until pest control arrived. The problem escalated. By July, they were in every room, and still the response was slow and dismissive. When pest control was finally scheduled, they missed our apartment completely, pushing us back another week.
We returned home from a short trip to find thousands of ants across every surface—counters, beds, dining table, and even falling from the ceiling. We sprayed ourselves and had to leave the unit to stay with family until the issue was addressed.
After pest control sprayed, we were left with hundreds of dead ants along the walls and baseboards. When we asked for help with cleanup, management told us it was our responsibility, even though this was clearly the result of their prolonged inaction. They refused to help, suggested we hire a cleaning service ourselves, and eventually hung up on me during the conversation.
Between the mold, months-long pest problems, lack of urgency, and unprofessional behavior, this has been one of the most frustrating living situations I’ve experienced. The maintenance and management are completely unresponsive unless pushed, and they seem more interested in deflecting blame than resolving issues.
Would not recommend.

As for the pest issues, immediately after you brought your pest concerns to our attention, you were added to the pest control list, and service was completed a few days later.
