Bella Vita

As a single femal, every time I call them, they never come but lying “we went already but nothing’s happening”. The security is never doing their “security” job. One time my neighbor called and the security ride a bike passed by in 2 seconds, and that was it! They “did” their job. If you’re safety concerned, don’t move to here.

It's OK for a first apartment. The walls are thin so you can hear all the children screaming outside. At night, the outside is full with water bugs and roaches. The bedrooms get extremely hot for the afternoon until 9 or so. The refrigerator leaks and creates a weird smell.

Lived at Bella Vita for a while now-- I'm pretty happy overall with my apartment, but it could be better.

Pros:
- Most of the guards are friendly
- Nice landscaping in the community
- The gym & pools are really nice
- No *major* issues with indoor roaches / bugs, yet
- Some friendly neighbors, it's a very culturally diverse area (my building has every nationality known to man in it, which I like)
- GREAT location
- Ample parking

Cons:
- Some security guards are RUDE
- The office management is... hit or miss. Some of them are so incompetent (e.g. change the mail room lock but don't change it properly and then my key won't work, re-tars the roof but on a day it's raining, etc.)
- The pool rules are ridiculous-- and the security guards act like the pool police making sure you don't even have as little as a piece of fruit near the pool (I got caught with a soda and he made a big deal out of it)
- Some shady characters here and there, but that's expected being so close to the strip
- LOTS of outdoor roaches that can make their way inside. I have a private bug guy, he told me it's a big problem in Bella vita and management seems to be too cheap to hire outdoor pest control Read More
