Don’t expect your deposit back
I paid rent on time every month and kept a tidy home. Tolerated the hhheavvvvy infestation of roaches as best I could and with constant cleaning and pest control. The price you pay is what you’re getting. Parking lot has constant bums rummaging around, which didn’t bother me, except I slept on the first floor and being a single women, did have them knock on my windows at night sometimes.
I painted, filled nail holes, mopped, even cleaned the fridge and it’s been 2 months after my lease and they... haven’t returned any calls or emails about my deposit. I paid a month of rent and a pet deposit. Just would be nice to even get at least an invoice as to why I don’t have my deposit. But nothing.
