University Terrace Apartments

It was easy to submit the application but that was the only mildly okay experience I’ve had with this company and apartment. Tracy told me that NCS had just acquired this property recently - and it clearly shows. Tracy barely knew anything about the property- not to mention that when I did my tour most of the lights didn’t work, the fan in the bathroom didn’t work, and there were two holes in the roof/wall in the bathroom THAT STILL HAVEN’T BEEN FIXED. I’m writing this on May 31st and I moved... in on May 15th. I didn’t get the move in/walk through paperwork until about 4 days AFTER I actually moved in and I am yet to sign them because it says the property is in “good condition” when most of it is broken or clearly not properly maintained. No one in the management answers you unless you basically harass them, and even when you do reach them, they’re all utterly incompetent and unprofessional. I had to be told by the other tenants that I needed a parking pass - this was NEVER TOLD TO ME BY MANAGEMENT or even hinted at. I then had to pester them to get my parking pass, which - you can only have one of. Which is utterly ridiculous since most of these apartments house 2 people who both have cars. During the same day I moved in, the sink overflowed (I never even used it) and despite my attempts to plunge it - it would continuously overflow for the next few days and flood the kitchen. The sink was finally fixed on May 25th after 3 different complaints about it. but the holes in the bathroom still aren’t and the bedroom door doesn’t close fully either. I have had 0 correspondence from anyone in management unless I reached out to them first (even when it came to submitting the deposits or signing the lease). If I wasn’t already locked into a year of living here I’d leave in a heartbeat. Don’t rent anywhere owned by Nevada Commercial Services if you want a pleasant renting experience. Read More
