Building was built in 1929, 6 stories, 77 apartments, 2 elevators, two separate stairwells, laundry in basement, corner building, live-in super, pet friendly, both dogs and cats, rent stabilized. Tenants are a mix of long time and new residents. Neighborhood is a mix of Bangladeshi, Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian, Jewish, and young professionals. A true definition of a melting pot of cultures.

Whenever a long time resident leaves an apartment, the apartment is totally renovated, torn down to the... bare bones, including tearing down walls, ceilings, flooring, etc.. then build back up from scratch with brand new stainless steel appliances, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher. So if you recently rent here, you are essentially living in a brand new apartment in an older building, which to me it's a good thing because the walls are thick, holds in cold during the summer and holds in heat during the summer. Heat/hot water included via a very powerful boiler system, never any issues with the heat except that it can get very warm. Window air conditioner units are allowed.

Front entrance of the building is also brand new. Extremely well-kept and clean building, super's wife cleans all the common area floors and outdoors every day. Very responsive super and management company.

Closest subway is the F/G Church Avenue station (5 blocks), then comes the Q Beverly Road station (1/2 mile). Lots of buses available along Church Ave, MacDonald Avenue, and Coney Island Avenue. About 45 minute commute on F train to Rockefeller Center, 35 minute commute on Q train. Park Slope is only 3 subway stops away on F train, Carroll Gardens 4 subway stops away. Prospect Heights/Park Slope 3 subway stops away on Q train.

Street parking available, alternate side parking is once a week per side, majority no meters except for main roads. Prospect Expressway is right on Ocean Parkway, one block away from the building.

Lots of small restaurants along Church Avenue (pizza, thai, japanese, chinese, mexican, latino, ukranian, polish, halal, filipino, etc...). Cortelyou Road is within a 1/2 mile walk, lots of higher end restaurants from Coney Island Avenue and on, including a weekend farmer's market along Cortelyou. Foodtown supermarket is available on MacDonald Avenue and Albemarle Road.
