Security deposit will be plundered

I always leave an immaculate apt behind. This is the only company that took hundreds of dollars off my security deposit because of very small nail holes. I lived there for almost 5 years and they take hundreds of dollars away from me because of small nail holes. Do not trust management

Friendly Building Close to Everything

The building is clean and the apartments are new and nice, especially if you've been living in older buildings or brownstones.

Location is everything here. We wanted easy access to multiple neighborhoods in Brooklyn as well as to more than one train line. The Andrea sits on the edge of Fort Greene/Clinton Hill and is walking distance to DUMBO, Bklyn Heights and Downtown Bklyn. We get to each hood easily by bike or foot with our 5 year old son. We so love that there are several train lines...
nearby. One other big seller for us was the proximity to BAM and Barclay's (performing arts for me, basketball for my husband). And if you want to get to the city, walk over the Manhattan or Brooklyn Bridge.

We also love that our dog only has a block to walk to Fort Greene Park.

The building itself it fairly new so is still in good shape. Neighbors are great (we've become friends with several), dogs are well-behaved, and the building staff is helpful.

Drawbacks: Myrtle Ave. is noisy; the closest entrance to Fort Greene Park is littered with cookout/party trash during summer months; amenities need maintenance/improvement like gym machines that sit broken for months or washers/dryers being down (although my husband just told me a new washer was installed today!).

Overall, there are other buildings with similar rents where we could move in the neighborhood. But we stay for the great location and awesome neighbors.
