Unfortunately, this used to be a good place to live. The apartments themselves are not bad. The location is solid, though Allentown is not what it used to be. This building is no longer is safe for residents living inside. They claim to have locks and key coded entry but that does nothing to prevent packages from being stolen, squatters living in empty apartments, and other items being taken from the hallways. Before moving out, there was a two month stretch where every single package that I had… ordered to the building was stolen. When I reported this to the temporary property supervisor, she told me that there is absolutely nothing that they can do, that the cameras that they have in the building are useless, and that there was no way for me to contact anybody else involved to look for some sort of resolution. The issue is the landlord and the managing company. You expect anything to get done at this place, think again. There is no way for you personally to get in touch with them, they can only get in touch with you. You can try to call their phone number on the website, it does not reach anyone. You can leave a voicemail, it is never returned. The only way to contact anybody involved with the landlord or management, is to go into the office which has inconsistent hours, a temporary worker who can only tell you that they will contact corporate, and can give you no way to contact corporate yourself. For what they are charging in rent, you’d expect to at least be able to feel safe and secure in your apartment, and have some sort of contact with the people that you are paying thousands of dollars to. I should also mention that there have been multiple instances of air-conditioning or heat, not working, often times at the worst possible timing, such as in the debt of winter the heat will die, or the hottest weeks of summer, the AC will not work. This past summer during the hottest stretch of the year, the air-conditioning died and it was four days before my efforts to contact somebody were responded to. In the meantime, my apartment was reaching temperatures of 85° plus at night within the apartment. I would not recommend for anybody to live here, unless it was their last resort.
