Old building, horrible manager, unsafe at times, better options in the area. Corporate management needs to get a clue and set up an office in the building, not be out of state and assume it is being managed properly on-site which it isn't.

Worst place I have ever lived
Worst place to live. Fire alarm went off 6 times yesterday, 2 in the middle of the night. Usually the alarm goes of 2-3 times a week for no reason.
Killed 5 spiders yesterday. Manager is very mean and overall not a good human being. Repair guys are nice, if you live here you’ll definitely get to know them well.
Security deposit, might as well just set that cash on fire. Any small repair in the apartment, even normal wear, they will charge you. I heard the owner say, “I have never seen anyone... get their full security deposit back”

The place is rundown and it shows. The manager is a beast and doesn't care what happens, totally packed it in waiting for retirement but should have been gone a long time ago. There have been several building violations and major fires including recently. The parking lot is hazardous with illegal parking and more. There is at least one thief in the building including from the laundry room. The place is being monitored by police and outside agencies. Ownership is out of state, unaware and... uninvolved as is needed. Rents are increased at least every other year with little to nothing put back in the building.

Terrible Place - Avoid
The place is deteriorating. Rents are going up, no money put back into the building. Two major fires in recent years that were on local newscasts. Property manager is the worst. Thinks he's the sheriff but is only the property manager who takes orders from the ownership which is out of state. Says and does stupid, inappropriate things that can be dangerous. Sucks up to certain tenants so he can tell the boss some tenants like him after others rightfully complain. There is favoritism which is... unfair, and he is rude & disrespectful.
The main parking lot has people parking in illegal places that can be hazardous in case there is another fire. This also can block the entrance and exit from the back parking lot which is in serious need of repair. Handicap parking spaces routinely have non-handicapped people parking in them. Rules about the parking lot should be posted and enforced, but are not.
The location of the building is good. There is security at night. This is needed because the area at night can be bad. The laundry room and stairwells are often littered and dirty. Carpeting on most floors is outdated and ratty looking. The lobby is poor looking. Moving in or out can be difficult. There are many better places to reside.

Great place to live
Also known as the fairfax hoiuse, I've lived here 3 years. The apartments are simple, no fancy upgrades, but they're quiet clean and in a great location close to all amazing bars and restaurants. Highly recommend!!
