Rats in the basement where you park your car. They WILL DESTROY your car seats and chew through the wiring. This means it becomes not worth it to have the attached garage to park your car. To top it off, street parking spots are never available so don’t try to have company over. The heat is not turned on unless it is BELOW freezing even when you beg them to. Management is completely rude and full of themselves. They lie about anything.

This apartment was built in the 20s. It even has the door for the milkman to leave the milk... It has hard wood floors in the living, dining, and the two bedrooms. Small kitchen and bathroom, which I prefer. It has fantastic French windows looking out into the garden. I love the old fashion glass door knobs. It has lots of windows to let the day light in. The location is primo, close to my work, markets, restaurants, etc. I feel safe in the neighborhood BIG PLUS for me. I park in a carport,... another big plus; I do not like to shovel snow in the winter. it has the feel of an European small cottage. It has laundry facilities. The common areas are kept very clean and the management has a fantastic team of people who snow shovel/plough every day as needed. and .. best of all - rent is reasonable!
This is a ten! will stay here for another seven years, even more.

Pros: 1 car basement garage so you don't have to street park, 1 of the 2 bedrooms is enormous with 2 closets (the other is quite small), laundry hook ups in basement, small private patio, plenty of storage, quiet neighbors, lovely safe street, walking distance to Starbucks and Target and close to everything else you need.

Cons: Tiny outdated kitchen, terribly outdated appliances, horribly old windows that have been painted so many times they are impossible to open or close, the tub in my... bathroom is super rusty and worn through from obvious years of leaking (my faucet is still constantly dripping), the back of my toilet isn't properly attached to the rest of the toilet so it ends up running all the time, my patio is covered in moss and, neighbors smoke outside my windows, a queen sized box spring will not fit up the stairs, outlets are super old and only 2 prongs (plugs fall out of them).
