Rude, Misleading and Accusatory Staff
We saw the negative reviews about Waters View Apartments, but we decided to give the community a fair chance because the units are undeniably beautiful. Unfortunately every concern in those reviews proved true.
During our tour, Mary not only gave us incorrect information about the application process, she openly admitted that her managers would be upset if they knew she told us the surrounding area was “not safe.” That alone showed a lack of training and professionalism yet we still moved... forward because we genuinely wanted the apartment.
We were clearly told that the individual listed on the lease would simply serve as a cosigner and would not be required to reside there. Later, once we attempted to update the cosigner, the story changed entirely: suddenly, anyone on the lease must live in the apartment at least seven days per year a requirement never disclosed upfront and only visible after applying, within the lease agreement itself. This directly contradicts what we were told.
Then, without cause or evidence, we were accused of fraudulent behavior despite being transparent, cooperative, and ready to pay the necessary fees to secure the apartment. The accusation was completely inappropriate and uncalled for. Yet Mary still wanted us to proceed forward with signing the lease!
Bottom line: Mary should know better than to refer to potential tenants as “fraudulent” We were financially prepared and fully willing to move forward but we will absolutely not do business with a leasing team that provides contradictory information, communicates poorly, and then resorts to baseless accusations. We’ll take our money to a community that treats prospective residents with respect and honesty
