Nob Hill

I was very disappointed on my tour of apartments at Nob Hill. The listing advertises a very reasonable price. However, when we arrived we were told about all of the ADDITIONAL fees (water, coned/heat, pet fee, pet rent, community fee, parking fee). I understand some of the fees but I think its ridiculous to pay $40/month for water when water bills for an ENTIRE HOME averages that price or even less. Both units we toured (1 bedroom and 2 bedroom) had issues. The 1 bedroom had broken closets,... a wobbly refrigerator, and a washer/dryer unit that didn't work. The 2 bedroom had missing floor tile. We were told that these issues would be fixed before moving in but why not fix these things before showing the apartments? Parking seemed sketchy-its underground and open. It wasn’t on apartment listing sites that many units are income restricted. Also to note there’s a firehouse directly across the street and it is noisy. Before the tour they also tell you of all the add on fees to live there, so take the base pay of what it says and add at least $200

Our keys were swapped at move in and we were given the wrong ones and were locked out of the apartment on day one and the management refused to help us even though they’re the ones who made a mistake. We had to call the police to help us late at night. Very distasteful and bad move in experience not much organization and respect for us as tenants form the one maintenance guy.

My tour was really good. My tour guide was really good and informative.

This place has been through 3 owners since I got here in 2020. Living here was not terrible until a few weeks ago when the new owners took over. If it was not for this issue I would’ve left 4 starts. But because of this one thing, it’s going down to 2. My dryer broke 2 months ago. I made calls to the office, did a few maintenance requests and nothing. I’ve had to pay to wash and dry clothes for 2 months for a family of 5. So happy Im leaving in June.
