Do Not rent here
Our experience renting at Hudson Place was extremely disappointing. Communication from the office was consistently poor, with emails and phone calls rarely returned. Management and maintenance issues were ongoing throughout our tenancy.
From shortly after move-in until the day we left, the washing machine leaked and was never properly repaired. There was also mold on a wall caused by a roof leak that remained unresolved despite being reported. The appliances were outdated and not well... maintained, and after our mailbox was damaged by snow plows, it took months to be replaced.
In addition, tenants seem to be charged for every minor issue. We initially signed a short-term lease and later needed a three-month extension. During that time, our rent was increased by $1,000, and when I reached out for clarification, I never received a response.
Overall, the property was poorly managed, and the lack of communication and maintenance was frustrating. I would not rent here again and am relieved to no longer be paying for such a disappointing living experience.

Property Manager at Hudson Place Apartments responded to this review
We are sorry to hear your experience did not meet expectations. We would like to provide some additional context regarding the concerns mentioned.
The mailbox was damaged by a city snowplow, and a replacement was ordered promptly and delivered on... February 10th. Due to snow and frozen ground conditions, installation of the new post was unfortunately delayed. The roof leak was also addressed, but repairs required waiting for snow and ice to clear for safe access.
The washing machine leak was repaired and is currently functioning properly. We would also like to clarify that the home is equipped with stainless steel appliances, and while style preferences may vary, the appliances were maintained throughout the residency.
Regarding the lease extension, short-term lease options typically carry higher monthly rates than standard lease terms, which is why the 3-month renewal rate was increased.
While we understand your frustrations, we do strive to respond to resident communications and maintenance requests as efficiently as possible. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in your new home.
