I had a list of numerous “specifics” while searching for an apartment and after a year of searching, narrowed it down to 2 complexes and was on both wait lists. Happily, we ended up at Colonie East. Kaitlyn, the mgr is extremely responsive and was always ready to answer a question pre-move. Grounds are beautifully maintained and outside upgrades are ongoing. Very quiet pet friendly community. Only issue is that most use of clubhouse/business office are still unusable due to covid restrictions.... We are extremely pleased to have found a comfortable new home

Recommend Colonie East Apartments
I have lived at Colonie East for almost 5 yrs. and have felt very happy, safe and content there. The maintenance staff are very courteous and maintenance requests are taken care of very quickly. The property is well-maintained and kept very clean. The office staff are very professional and attentive. The location is wonderful and is close to many retail and entertainment options, as well easy access to the Northway. I would recommend Cole Group properties to anyone!"

It's home!!
I have lived here for almost 4 years. It is such a convenient location, close to everything. The office manager truly sets the tone for this complex. She is professional, knowledgeable and always has a solution. Maintenance team are polite, professional just real family men. The grounds are nicely maintained. Dogs are allowed and not every tenant picks up like they should but management takes this very serious, so its not too bad just occasional. The apartments are easily maintained, good size,... laundry rooms are close. It is a safe place to live, safe for children, beautiful pool and sundeck, nice gym, sauna, showers. Four years have flown by and I have had minimal issues. I came here from a house and divorce and it has been a godsend. Maintenance takes care of any and all issues immediately, there really are many perks to renting from a large corporation. You really cannot do any better in Latham than Colonie East Apartments, trust me, I checked out all of them!!

Perfect for Us!
After being together 7 years, my fiance and I finally needed our own place and this apartment is just what we were looking for! The complex is set back behind a beautiful neighborhood, making it easy to walk our dog or go for a nice run. It is also located in an ideal area, close to many restaurants, grocery stores, and especially our work! It is also close to NY's capital, Albany, which has plenty of things to do. We live in a one bedroom that is big enough for us and our dog, along with all of... the furniture we wanted. The complex also has two and three bedrooms to choose from, and allows dogs of almost any size and breed so it is very favorable! It is quiet, well-maintained, and has plenty to do including a club house with fitness center, outdoor pool, tennis courts, and basketball court. We have our own private patio and private entrance into our apartment. With plenty of windows and the sliding glass doors, we use minimal lighting, which is a big plus when it comes to the electric bill! As we are now putting away money for our wedding, the rental price is affordable and worth it for what we have. We love it and will definitely be renting here next year!
