Money grabbing staff

I moved here from Kentucky. The apartments are nice and very spacious. The staff is fairly responsive and reasonable when it comes to easy things. However, I did have a poor experience overall renting here. I moved back here from Kentucky, so I obviously relied on pictures and the word of the staff. I was originally told I could move in at the end of June, when it came within a week I called back and spoke with them again and was told I could not move in until early July. At this time, I had no... other option but to find a storage unit, and was forced to pay extra and move my belongings multiple times. They told me they would provide me with a garage to use for the week to store my stuff, but then when it came time, they wanted to charge me an additional $100!!! The laundry room was also not as described and I was barely able to puzzle-piece my units inside the room. When I brought up these concerns to the manager, she basically scoffed at me and refused to acknowledge any responsibility or offer any remediation, and actually made a rude comment about how I should have come to see the apartments first (against, moving from KY I was unable to do so). Water began to leak from the ceiling during a rain storm, to which they just came and looked while I was gone and said it was fine, with no further explanation. During an epic snow storm, I mailed my rent in from Rochester and was charged a late fee because the check was one day late, despite the snow storm and date of the check and post-date. When I moved out, I was charged over $300 (of a $1000 deposit) to paint ONE SMALL wall in the entry way that got minimally scuffed, mind you this is after I already paid a $1000 fee to break my lease early due to a job relocation. When I email them about this, they do not reply. The staff here, while friendly, does not seem to care about their residents, they only care about the money. It is very unfortunate because it is a fairly nice complex.
