Love it at 85 John Street
I love it at 85 John Street. I feel very safe and the doormen are great and know everyone that lives in the building so I feel very secure. The residents are mostly working professionals or families and maybe a few college students. The building is quiet, however, there is street noise right now due to construction. The studio apartment is spacious and more than enough room for one person with high ceilings and big windows. Hallways are nice and lit well and very secure. Laundry is on each floor... which is convenient. The management (Kibel - Lee specifically) has been wonderful, friendly, and responsive. Move-in was smooth and easy. The monthly rent is average for the area, but was actually the lowest of comparable buildings. I would highly recommend 85 John Street and will be happy to renew my lease.

85 John St
I live in a studio with a home office, which my roommate and I use as our bedroom and share a queen size bed. Perfect size kitchen and living room with very tall ceilings. The only downside is we are on the 6th floor and our windows face other buildings and we do not get any sunlight in our apartment. This apartment features a great gym, rooftop deck and laundry units on each floor. Perfect location in the downtown Financial District of NYC, with almost every subway line you need within... minutes and it's very quiet. We don't hear any New York City noises.
