Kips Bay Court Apartments is an apartment community
no heat, have to fight for heat 1/2 the times, rude maintenance supervisor
The maintenance supervisor- elijah is anti-tenant, depriving tenants of heat, making it easier for himself & workers at the expense & inconvenience of the tenants, not taking calls, not returning calls. Mgt refuses to take seriously tenants concerns & side w/ workers, ignoring their bad behavior. You literally have to fight to get heat 1/2 the times and get any courtesy & true quality of life here. Apts too expensive to deal w/ that.

Horrible Experience - break in by building with no responsibility accepted
Apartments were being redone on my floor and a worker jiggled my door handle one morning which at the time I had thought was in error. Days later I noticed paint splatter on my furniture. After weeks of chasing management, they accepted no responsibility. When I asked them how they thought paint got on my furniture and my vacuum got moved while I was at work they didn't reply. I am now filing a police report and working with insurance. Don't live here if your looking for a safe doorman... apartment building. Too expensive for bad service and safety precautions are largely absent from this establishment.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT COMPANY
Moved out 3 months ago and still have not received our security deposit. They stopped answering calls and emails. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

Very poorly run by management
If you enjoy unanswered emails, unreturned phone calls, issues with their online payment system and then being charged late fees because of it, and poorly constructed flex bedrooms, look no further! Spent weeks hunting down management to schedule signing our lease, the lease they sent us was a mess of documents, they have not changed the name of the tenant on the apartment after two months of requests, the list goes on. This management team will make you feel like a homeowner, in that you will... have to deal with all apartment issues yourself.

Life with a View
For my first apartment I couldn't ask for a better building and location. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, I never have to worry about walking out my door into a sea of tourists. Within a couple blocks you have three supermarkets, two hospitals, a surplus of restaurants, banks, pharmacies, and more. The property staff are incredibly nice and helpful. Maintenance is efficient - they always get a job done within a few hours of a request. Although there isn't a pool or rooftop communal area, I... love that I have a private balcony for personal enjoyment.
