Riverton Square

Can’t wait for the day I move in. So peaceful on the grounds the apartments are very nice & quite for the most part so I love that. My family will love it here soon come!!!!!

I have lived in Riverton going on 4 years now. Although they say newly renovated its more like newly refurbished. Once a tenant moves out of the apartment minimum maintenance is done to the apartment prior to the next tenant moving in. I have experienced this first and did not realize this is how Riverton works until I was moving into the apartment. It took them over a year and a half to fix a mirror in my bathroom. I have had several issues in my apartment that have gone unaddressed or have… been patched, so the issue is never really resolved. The maintenance team is mediocre and alway manages to do a sloppy job. Which is frustrated especially for considering the price to rent here. I am still here because it is easy for my daughter to get to school and I am relocating in two years. However , if I planned on being in NY longer, I would definitely not stay here. The grocery stores in the neighborhood are poor you have to shop out side the area to get quality groceries. Very few places to eat that are close by. The buildings are in poor condition: elevators, tiles, paint,lighting. The hallways are always dirty.
Plus side: slow to respond but good maintenance staff. Most of the neighbors are very nice people. You have the 2 and 3 trains 2 blocks away.
