Terraces on the Hudson is a wonderful place to live. The views and grounds are beautiful and the people are kind and accommodating. I feel very welcome and safe living at Terraces. The Hudson River and Bear Mountain in the background, just so peaceful and quiet. Everyone friendly. Hard to beat.

Over the years I lived here the building has gotten worst. Not worth the money for what you are getting. I would consider a different luxury rental that would appreciate you.

If I could leave no stars I would. Please stay away from this place unless you like going up flights of stairs with the elevators shutting down every other day, your car being flooded, repairs not being resolved or receiving used dirty appliances and constant changes for another dirty appliance, their “coffee bar” always out of order, possibly no longer have night concierge staff. And forget if you have a medical condition, no one cares. I moved in October 2022 and have experienced more... incompetence, disorganization, and irresponsibility from any management or company I’ve ever come across. Despite all problems you will face in your apartment here, don’t think for a second you will be able to break your lease. They care about the money, not your well being. There have been tenants posting notices on how to break your lease in this building.

The concierge staff and the maintenance workers are the only true gems.

Do yourself the favor, if you believe you deserve a good living for your hard earned money, do not choose this place. I am still one of the many tenants suffering and hoping to break out of the lease to live somewhere actually worth it. Read More

The building is off the beaten path and a distance to a highway, but great location if you take train into Manhattan. However the views are spectacular during the warm weather with a wonderful walking path along the Hudson.
Value is a different story. The quality of the workmanship from floors to cabinets are fair at best. Hot water takes a few minutes to get going. Appliances are on the lower end of the spectrum.. Your paying for the view if you have one! Otherwise just okay!

I’ve been living here for 3 years and not only is the building immaculately clean, (I’ve never seen so much as an ant in my apartment) amenities such as club lounge, spa room, gym and pool area are top notch! Additionally, on a scale from 1 to 10 regarding noise (10 being the loudest), this apartment rates a 2 on the noise scale. Although I am on the top floor; I’ve never heard my neighbors speak, yell, tv, radio, etc. It’s so cozy and tucked away you really do feel like you’re on vacation.... Especially when you wake up in the morning and see the water, sunshine and colorful sailboats. We also see the sunset as well and it is stunning. But aside from that— what truly makes this building a home is the staff. Everyone is so kind, considerate, helpful and goes out of their way to accommodate us. There are so many ppl to thank, but under Willie’s exceptional tutelage, professionalism, charisma & ppl skills, his entire team is fantastic. If there is ever a maintenance issue it is resolved immediately & always with a smile. In the leasing office, everyone seems terrific but I’ve had the most interaction with Samara, and her sincerity, warmth and efficiency cannot go unnoticed. The bottom line is that these people treat us like family, bc they care about our experience here & always strive to make it the best possible. They have gone above and beyond assisting me with many issues. There is really no way I can thank them— but at least I get to write a review about not only GDC Mgmt; but the staff here in particular. You may say it’s pricey, but living with ppl who look out for you, have your back, check on you, help you whenever and however they can is something you can’t put a price tag on. I am blessed and grateful to be living in a place that I feel safe, valued, cared for and important. You don’t have to be a celebrity to be treated like a VIP at a GDC location— but I’m partial to One Harbor Square. These ppl are amazing and I appreciate all they’ve done & continue to do. Read More
