Worst decision of my life

My boyfriend and I have lived here for about 6 months. We have had so much crime in our little community its ridiculous. Everything is too small and the walls are so thin that I fell and put my hand through it. Heat may be included but it's not like you can use it earlier then they say so. Management makes up their own hours. Not worth the money.

It's improved over the years.

I used to be pretty unimpressed living here and had a few issues the past ~10 years. The remodel was chaotic, no doubt about that, but it has slowly but surely improved over the years. Compared to other apartments I have lived at, Cedars is above average.

Not what it seems

I originally had no issues when I first moved here. Now that new management came and took over and brought new ridiculous rules with them I am looking to move. I have been here 3 years and up until last year I was able to grill on my patio. The new rule is that you cant grill on your patio which is a bit ridiculous to me. Isn't that one of the things normal people use their patio for? Not to mention, when they did the remodeling to the apartments we were supposed to get access to the laundry… rooms up until 8pm, the hours now are so inconvenient for a working person. They went up on the rent and Ill tell you now that it's not worth the money they charge now. I hope I find something before its time to renew my lease.

Management

My granddaughter just moved there she is a single mom with a daughter and management has been nothing but rude to my granddaughter. They didn't give her the apartment she signed up for they put her in a handicapped unit and she is not handicapped when she asked for a different apartment the manager is telling her she has to stay there unless a handicapped person needs a 2bedroom then she would have have to move so my question is what sense does that make? She is simply being rude and nasty you… reap what you sow.

Good place to live...until..

I am a single mom of two young children.. After splitting with the father of my kids I wanted somewhere cheap to live. The rent here is based on income and includes utilities. I had no problems here until the new management took over.. Now they constantly keep asking for income verification..w2s and documents it seems every month.. It's really inconvenient, working full time and having two kids I don't have time to be getting all the documents together all the time within a time limit. I… would've gave this place 5 stars..now down to 3.. Looking for a new place to move now unfortunately.
