raining water from the ceiling
My daughter has been in an Alps apartment for 6 months. During these past 6 months, she has had water repeatedly leaking down from her ceiling bathroom from the apt. above. Maintenance comes, makes,"repairs"., and yet the water continues and many a day she comes home to a bathroom mess. I question why they just don't move her into a "working" apartment, so they can rip out the ceiling,etc, and do the work properly. How is this a "safe, liveable, sanitary apartment? How can they say the... plumbing is in "good workable order?" , which is stated in the "Landlords Duty of Repair" under Tenant's Rights. They keep wanting her monthly rent though. I'd like to know what her rights are? She is at the mercy of the maintenance crew. We are frustrated with the lack of proper repairs. Who can she turn to for help?
Not impressed with "the Alps at Swiss Village".
